Linda Worden, RN, MPH, Certified Dementia Practitioner
Owner & Certified Care Manager
Linda founded Worden Eldercare Consulting in 2003. She recognized the strong need for care coordination, education, and patient advocacy for the aging population. Since that time she has helped hundreds of families navigate the complex maze that is elder care. Linda has presented locally and nationally on issues related to health care and the elderly. Linda has an RN from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Connecticut. She has over 35 years of experience working with the elderly in long-term care, home care and hospice.
Linda is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager and a member of the Aging Life Care Organization(formerly the National Association of Professional Care Managers) where she has previously served on the Board of the New England Chapter. Linda is a certified as Dementia Care Specialist by both the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
Linda has been active statewide in elderly issues for many years. She has served many agencies including:
- Board of Directors for Connecticut Home Care
- Chair of the Advisory Council for Senior Resources Area Agency on Aging
- Board member of the Connecticut Alzheimer’s Association
- Chairman of the Rushford Board of Directors.
Linda was a clinical instructor at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and School of Nursing. She is an active member of Hartford HealthCare’s Quality and Safety Committee.
Linda’s hands on approach and expertise in elder care services ensure that her clients receive competent and compassionate assistance and guidance to meet their individual care needs.
Linda is married with 6 children, 9 grandchildren and loves Maine. She is an avid reader, loves history and traveling to new places.
Jessica Griffin Scheff, MS, OTR/L
Jessica is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. She attended Springfield College and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Rehabilitation and Disability Services with a minor in Psychology, and a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her previous experience includes includes highly specialized upper extremity outpatient rehabilitation for injuries and postoperative care and inpatient care at skilled nursing facility. She loves the work she does with Worden Eldercare and is dedicated to ensuring all her clients are provided holistic quality care that preserves or improves their quality of life. She is a member of both the Aging Life Care Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. She is in process of becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
In the local community, Jessica also works closely with the Community Foundation of Middlesex County and has recently joined the grants committee for the Women and Girls Fund. Jessica is married with two young children and 11 year old boxer “puppy”.
Sally is married and has four children. She is a native to Connecticut and dedicated to supporting Connecticut businesses. Sally has 34 years of finance/bookkeeping expertise in the medical, construction, family owned businesses, non-profit, community organizations as well as office management experience and is currently an active Treasurer for two businesses.
Sally is a graduate of South Catholic High School and attended the University of Connecticut and specializes in Auditing, Account Receivables/Accounts Payables, Payroll, General Ledger, Taxation, Specialized Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Invoicing, Month End Closing, Benefits Administrator, Government Medicaid Application, Assisting in Nursing Home selection for Elder Care, Senior Money, Management and Senior Bill payments services. Sally is dedicated to servicing her clients and has a passion to get the job done with integrity, credibility and done right the first time.
